صـلاة الأب أنـدريا سـانتورو إلى مـريـم  

Ankara (AsiaNews) – The Capuchin Friary of Jerusalem sent us this prayer written by Father Andrea and dedicated to Mary. It came with the following short note: 

“With brothers of this stature we can be legitimately proud.”" بإخوة لهم هذه الخصال نحن بحق نفتخروا"

هذه الصلاة كتبها الأب أندريّا حين كان في القدس بدير الأباء الكبوشيين ومرفوعة إلى مريم

Mary, Woman of Jerusalem  يا مريم، امرأة أورشليم   

Where you offered yourself with Jesus at the foot of the Crossحيث قدمت تحت الصليب نفسك مع يسوع

Mary, Woman of the Last Supper   يا مريم، امرأة العشاء الأخير   

Where you gathered the breath of the Holy Spirit,حيث حضنت نفحة الروح القدس    

Mary, Woman of Ephesus,يا مريم، امرأة أفسـس   

Where you came with John, ‘Your Son’  حيث حضرت مع يوحنا، "ابنك"  

Sent in mission by the Spirit: Pray for us.  المرسل من الروح للتبشـير: صلي لأجلنا  

Mary, Mother of the sheep outside the fold,  يا مريم ، أم  الخروف الضال  

Mother of those who do not know your son, أم الذين لا يعرفون ابنك  

Mother of those who do not know  what they do: Pray for us. أم الذين لا يعرفون ما يفعلون: صلي لأجلنا 

Mary, Mother of lifeless souls,   يا مريم، أم النفوس الهامدة  

Mother of lightless minds, أم العقول المظلمة 

Mother of hopeless hearts أم القلوب اليائسة  

Mother of sons, who killed your son, أم الأبناء، الذين قتلوا ابنك  

Mother of sinners, Mother of the thief who did not repent,يا أم الخطأة، أم السارق الذي لم يتب  

Mother of the son who did not come back: Pray for us. أم الإبن الذي لم يعد: صلي لأجلنا   

Mary, Mother of those who did not follow Him,    يا مريم، أم الذين لم يتبعوه  

Mother of those who repudiated Him, أم الذين رفضوه 

Mother of those who went back, أم الذين انسحبوا 

Mother of those who were not called: Pray for us. أم الذين لم يُدعَوا: صلي لأجلنا 

Mary, Mother of those who are  like John يا مريم،  أم الذين هم مثل يوحنا 

Seek the loss children of God, يفتشون عن ابناء الله الضالين 

Mother of those who, those who descend in hell أم هؤلاء الذين هبطوا الى الجحيم  

To announce life to the dead: Pray for us.ليبشروا بالحياة للموتى: صلي لأجلنا 

Mary, Mother, come and live with me:يا مريم، أيتها الأم، هلمي وأقيمي معي 

Come to the house where I am asked to live,هلمي إلى البيت الذي  طـُلب مني أن أعيش فيه   

Come to the land where I am asked to go,هلمي إلى الأرض التي طـُلب مني أن أذهب إليها 

Come among the men I am asked to love,هلمي إلى الناس الذين طـُلب مني أن أحبها 

Come to the divisions that I am asked to heal, هلمي إلى الإنقسامات الذي طـُلب مني شـفائها 

Come into the hearts that I am asked to visit.هلمي إلى القلوب التي طـُلب مني زيارتها 

Come to my home and be my mother,  هلمي إلى بيتي وكوني أمي 

Come Mary; give me your heart as mother.  هلمي يا مريم، أعطني كأم قلبك
